Product promise
SignalQuarry gives developers a reproducible path from strategy idea to backtest evidence to paper observation. It supports both people writing strategies and coding agents helping them explore hypotheses. It does not promise a profitable strategy.
Main user paths
- Browse a catalog entry and read the rules, assets, assumptions, and known limitations.
- Run the ten-minute offline quickstart with synthetic fixtures.
- Read an owner-approved aggregate study result, then reproduce it with exact code and appropriately licensed data.
- Implement a pure strategy plugin and test the same decision contexts in backtest and paper runners.
- Configure a dedicated paper account and optionally publish a sanitized performance snapshot.
Evidence presentation
The site publishes four owner-approved aggregate historical study summaries, including two no-winner outcomes. It does not distribute provider price data or complete run bundles. Results keep their original limitations and reproduction status. Comparison is limited to compatible assumptions and periods; paper simulation limitations stay beside paper results. Missing cash-flow or attribution evidence is labeled unavailable.
Release boundaries
The offline setup needs no account. Collection, TypeSafe feature preparation, paper trading, and hosting are separate opt-in capabilities. TypeSafe may prepare versioned text-derived research features when a study has a concrete text input; frozen outputs are consumed by backtests without model calls. It is not part of the broker path.
